Is there a complete Scavland map download?
Not here. Use the official dynamic minimap and world map. We will not fake a full Zalesye atlas or bunker interiors.
The Scavland map is a handcrafted Zalesye surface plus official dynamic minimap and world map systems. Steam’s Early Access list is explicit: open world on top, procedural underground bunkers below. Abandoned settlements, forests, irradiated swamps, hidden spots, roads, and bunker hatches are the texture — not a downloadable fake atlas with every crate tagged. Named POI pins stay TBA until we capture live UI. Verified September 6, 2026.
Story flavor, not a spoiler walkthrough: you survived a near-fatal shot by mysterious soldiers said to come from a far land with no Mist. People in Zalesye talk about the East as a promised land beyond the RO-29 Highway, and rumor names like Wyraj ride that same rumor rail. Treat East / Wyraj / RO-29 as Act I talk, not a GPS pin we invented. Pair routing with bunkers, mist, and survival.
| Fact | Detail |
|---|---|
| Surface | Handcrafted open world — settlements, forests, irradiated swamps, hidden spots, remnants |
| UI (official EA) | Dynamic minimap and world map — use in-game, not a fake download |
| Below | Bunker doors on the surface; interiors are procedural — see bunkers |
| Story rumor | RO-29 Highway, the East without Mist, Wyraj — Act I talk, not a spoiler route |
| Risk pitch (Steam) | Farther from known roads and settlements → higher risk / higher loot pitch |
| Cycle | Day and night. Night vis and gunshot range live on survival — plan daylight first |
| Named pins | TBA. We will not invent town names, grid coords, or a complete overlay |

Official copy describes a handcrafted open world filled with abandoned structures, dangerous forests, irradiated swamps, hidden locations, mutants, bandits, and remnants of the old world. That sentence is the Scavland map we will stand on. It is not a generated overworld. It is not a tile randomizer you re-roll. The surface is authored. Settlements and traders are how factions sit on the land. Jobs in the contracts journal send you across it. The underground is a different contract: discover entrances to bunkers and other dangerous locations with procedural layouts. Mixing those two sentences is how fake wikis ship a “complete Zalesye map” with lab floor plans drawn on the overworld.
This site will not publish a pixel-perfect overlay, a coordinate dump, or a “100% locations” checklist. Early Access can move POIs. Streamer drawings age in a week. If we do not have a captured still of a named pin, the name stays TBA. Use the live world map. Come back here for routing rules: roads before swamps, hatches as doors, extract before greed.
Hidden locations are official. Hidden does not mean we will spoiler-pin every bush. Learn landmarks the same way you learn jams: by surviving a loop, not by memorizing a fan atlas.
Walking every tile does not unlock a region skill. Progression is kit, rubles, standing, and extract discipline. A pretty route that dies overweight is still a failed raid.
Steam’s Early Access feature list names a dynamic minimap and a world map system. That is official. Exact zoom steps, fog-of-war rules, ping binds, and whether dead backpacks draw as beacons on the big map stay TBA until we capture UI. Do not treat a community screenshot of a custom overlay as the live HUD. The Scavland map you should trust is the one in the pause menu and the one in the corner while you walk.
Use the world map in the safehouse to pick a loop before you leave. Use the minimap to stay oriented when trees, ruins, and swamp edges start to look the same. If you cannot find your hatch or your extract road on the live map, you are not ready to go off-road for “better loot.” Pair this with death recovery: a beacon you cannot re-find is a backpack you donated.

Minimap/world map are dynamic UI. The surface itself is handcrafted. Do not read “dynamic map” as “the forests reshuffle.” Bunker interiors reshuffle. The roads do not owe you a new continent every raid.
If a search result offers a complete Scavland map PNG, assume it is fan art or a leak of an old build. We will not host one. GOG map packs and Android map apps are the same noise — PC Steam is the product.
Expect abandoned settlements: loot, people, and factions traders, plus the noise that comes with all three. Expect forests: cover, mutants, and routes that look short until A-Life walks through them. Expect irradiated swamps: filters, slow feet, and a bad place to learn survival on your first daylight. Expect roads that connect those things, remnants of the old world, and bunker hatches that look like part of the scenery until you need them. That is the official surface palette. Named towns, exact swamp borders, and a trader-stall pin list stay TBA.
Hostile survivors and bandits live on this layer. Mutants live on this layer. Night lives on this layer. The mist is not a separate planet — it is a threat that sits on the same Scavland map you just opened. Plan the surface as if contact can happen on a “safe” road. The beginner loop on beginner guide wants daylight and a short settlement circuit, not a swamp speedrun.

Traders and jobs sit in inhabited pockets. That does not make the street a stash. The safehouse stash is the bank. Dying on the road still drops the pack. See death recovery.
Steam puts dangerous forests in the same breath as mutants and bandits. Treat tree cover as concealment and as a place you can lose the road. Minimap on. Extract road remembered.
Irradiated ground is why you packed a filter. If you did not, the swamp is not a shortcut — it is a survival fail. Do not invent rad/s numbers here.
Official story text: you want answers, and the people of Zalesye speak of the East as a promised land beyond the RO-29 Highway — a land talked about as having no Mist. Wyraj shows up in the same rumor cluster in public materials as a story name, not as a tourist pin we will draw. This page will not turn that paragraph into a spoiler walkthrough, a highway kilometer marker, or a “go here in hour two” route. If the live world map labels RO-29, believe the live map. If it does not, you are still in Act I’s first region, and the rumor is flavor that keeps you pushing the loop.
Act I is the first region plus core systems. Act II and Act III are planned to add regions. Do not roleplay a complete highway campaign on a Scavland map article in Early Access. If a contract or main journal beat names a road, follow the journal — see contracts — and come back to this page for the rule: rumor is not a loot farm.
We will not publish a fake East overlay, a Wyraj dungeon map, or RO-29 rest-stop loot tables. When a still shows the label, we can caption the label. Until then: story rumor.
Even if NPCs say the East has no Mist, your current raid is in Zalesye. Pack the filter. Read mist.
Pick a road you can still draw after the raid. Tie it to a settlement or trader you actually need for ammo or a contracts turn-in. Stay in daylight. Leave weight headroom. The official loop is Prepare → Explore → Scavenge → Survive → Return → Upgrade. The Scavland map job inside that loop is Explore without failing Survive. A “full clear” of every ruin on the way is how you hit night, jams, and a second death on death recovery.
Mark bunker hatches as you pass — they are later raids, not mandatory rooms on the first walk. If the journal names a retrieval in a swamp, that swamp is the job; the rest of the atlas can wait. If the journal names a settlement stall, do not detour into a hatch “because it is on the way” with a 40% gun. Route the job. Extract. Repair on repair. Then go deeper.
Night visibility and gunshot ripples live on survival. The map article’s version: if you cannot see the road, you do not have a route. Start loops with sun.
Main quests, side quests, and contracts are why the world map exists as a planning board. Tourism without a turn-in is how tetris fills with chairs. See loot.
The extract is a road you already walked, a settlement you can still reach, or a hatch you will not re-enter overweight. If your only plan is “keep walking west,” you do not have a plan.
Doors and hatches on the Scavland map are entrances, not floor plans. Official language: discover entrances to underground bunkers featuring procedural layouts. Drawing a fixed lab under a pin is a lie. The surface pin (when you have one) says “a hole exists.” It does not say which armory, which rare room, or which unique enemy rolled this time. That page is bunkers.
Learn to recognize hatch language in the world: a door in a ruin, a lid in a yard, a stair you did not take on the first loop. Put it on your mental world map the same way you put a trader. Then walk past it until ammo, oil, filters, meds, and an extract plan are real. A hatch with a jammed gun is a backpack farm for whoever finds you.
A corridor you ran is one roll. The next Vulture — including you tomorrow — gets another roll. Surface pins can be stable; interiors are not a wiki atlas.
Full-game plans mention more underground bunkers and exploration content. Act I already has them. We will not preview Act II holes as if they were on today’s world map.
Steam’s risk/reward pitch is blunt: the further you go from known roads and settlements, the nastier the wastes and the better the loot pitch. That is a warning with a carrot, not a command to leave the road on raid one. Leave the known Scavland map circuit when the last extract was clean, the gun is above the jam band, the filter is not a rumor, and you can still point at an extract without guessing. Off-road is how you find hidden locations and hatches. Off-road is also how A-Life, radiation, and the mist write a beacon you cannot describe.
If you die off-road, recovery is a second expedition — cheap kit, same rules, no trophy pile in the pack. If you die in a bunker off that off-road, the pack sits in a procedural wing. That is worse than leaving two spark plugs on a settlement shelf. The map does not owe you a full clear. It owes you a way home.
Co-op is planned, not Act I. You will not split the map with a friend this patch. Plan solo extracts.
Next: treat hatches as raids on bunkers — ammo, meds, oil, filters, extract plan.
Not here. Use the official dynamic minimap and world map. We will not fake a full Zalesye atlas or bunker interiors.
No. Official: handcrafted open world. Procedural layouts are underground bunkers and similar holes.
Story rumor: a highway toward a promised East talked about as having no Mist. Wyraj rides the same rumor rail. Not a spoiler GPS pin on this page.
PC Steam. GOG unconfirmed. No port map pages.
No. Hatches are doors. Layouts change. See bunkers.
